The Schmuckers: THREE

Evan turns three! His birthday falls right over Labor Day weekend, which is fun because we typically have a lot of the Sitzmann side in town visiting. He requested a tractor cake and we had a small celebration lunch with some of the immediate family.

Here is what he is up to at THREE!

He is very sweet and very cuddly most of the time, but definitely has a sassy/stubborn side. He will stand his own ground with Adam and is quick to tell us we are "naughty" if we tell him something he doesn't want to hear.
He is a chatterbox. He talks all day long and has quite the vocabulary. He loves when he can make us laugh, and he fills the house with his infectious laughter.
Evan adores his big brother! It is really sweet to watch their interactions. Now that Adam has started school, Evan gives him huge bear hugs when we pick him up or he gets off the bus.
He is a great eater and is always eager to try new foods.
Evan still naps every afternoon for a couple of hours. He LOVES his nuks. He is quite attached to them, but we will soon find out what life is like without them when the "nuk fairy" comes to visit.
Evan weighs 28.75lbs (37%) and is 3' tall (11%). He has the fastest little feet when he runs.
Evan displays no interest in potty training, but I would love to tackle this with him soon! He will sometimes tell me when he has gone potty in his diaper so I know he is ready.
Everyday Evan does things I didn't know he was capable of doing. We are really enjoying watching him discover and explore his surroundings. He has such a sweet disposition and is just so fun.
