Memorial Day Weekend

We actually had some relatives in town for the weekend, but I don't really have any pictures to show for it. Instead, here are some pictures of us enjoying the beautiful weekend...

Birthday Milestones

Aaron's grandparents, Renee and Joe, were celebrating their 90th and 92nd birthdays. They will also be celebrating a wedding anniversary in June. We went to Cold Spring for the party and were able to catch up with some relatives we don't see very often.

Twice the fun

Hanna and Soren both have May birthdays so we combined them into one birthday celebration. Kate was home for a whirlwind weekend. Adam was so excited for cake and ice cream and even helped to blow out Hanna's candle and open her presents... a fun day for all!

Perch Lake

Perch Lake is a great county park in our neck of the woods. It is a clean lake with a great sandy beach, a playground, and lots of picnic areas. Grandma and Matt came with us and enjoyed a beatiful morning there.

Lunch with Mary Lou

My Aunt Mary Lou came for a nice leisurely lunch. It was great to catch up with her. Adam was proud to show of his new blue guitar and even sang a song or two.

New Toy

I think Aaron is thrilled to have a riding lawn mower. It will be a huge time saver this summer. Adam is pretty thrilled with it too. He enjoys sitting on it in the garage and pretending he is driving just as much.

Rivertown Art Festival

We went into Stillwater to check out the Rivertown Art Festival. There was a variety of vendors with unique items so it was fun to browse. It happened to be fishing opener so there were lots of boats on the water for Adam to watch. They also had a kids area so Adam was very entertained by one of the giant inflatables with a jumping area and a big slide.
