The Aftermath

The boys have been playing non-stop with their new toys & games. They have even done a pretty good job sharing with each other. We have spent lots of lazy mornings in jammies and enjoyed some fun afternoons with friends.
Meeting Dylan, their new cousin, over a video chat. We cannot wait to meet him in person!!!
Evan LOVES this costume of Adam's, especially taking us all to jail.

Christmas Day

The kids were up plenty early on Christmas Day in anticipation of what Santa may have left for them. Adam's excitement was off the charts. He kept shouting, "This is the best Christmas EVER".
Santa brought Evan some new tractors

And brought Adam some Legos

There was even a present to share!

Adam and Aaron headed downstairs to start building right away

Evan is very attached to this hay baler
We headed to Grandma and Grandpa's for a homemade spaghetti dinner and more gifts. Adam received a crossbow and we all had a blast trying it out.
Family shot (we sometimes call Evan "Mr. Grumpfish" because he doesn't smile easily)

Grandpa was excited to try out his fitness ball

Christmas Eve

We enjoyed a fun evening at the Apold's. The kids sang carols for us and enjoyed opening gifts and playing with their cousins while the adults enjoyed great food and time with family. Thanks for a memorable evening.

Our Little Elves

The boys always want to be my helpers. Although it can be a lot of extra work to give them some jobs, it is so worth it to see how excited they are to complete them. They were actually pretty helpful making cookies and clearing snow, but not as helpful wrapping gifts:)
Adam mixing up some frosting

Adam and Evan did all of the sprinkles on the sugar cookies and they were well coated

The Children's Museum

I am embarrassed to admit that I have never actually made it to the Children's Museum with the boys until now. We have had plans to go in the past and had to cancel for whatever reason, but I am so glad that Evan and I made it for Olivia's birthday party there. It was so much fun. Evan loved it and I know Adam would too. Here are a few pictures from our morning:

Macy's and the Holidazzle

Kezia and I each brought the kids downtown one Friday afternoon and had the guys meet us from work. We walked through the Macy's 8th floor display, grabbed a bite to eat, and then headed outside to watch the Holidazzle parade. The boys are still talking about the crocodile and the Big Bad Wolf they saw.

Kenna and Adam at Macy's. Evan was mesmerized by all the moving puppets.

Waiting for the parade to start.

It was a little chilly waiting, but pretty mild for December.

Baby Coryn was a trooper! Fun night!!
