Easter Celebration #2

We celebrated on Sunday afternoon with the Dynan side. It was a beautiful day and the kids had an egg hunt outside. Happy Easter!

Easter Bunny

After everyone left our house on Saturday, we got busy preparing for the Easter Bunny's arrival.
Adam colored eggs while Evan watched closely. We left out some carrots too.

Evan loved the plastic eggs
Adam was disappointed that he didn't get to say "goodbye" to the Easter Bunny, so he opened the door and yelled "Thank you" in case the Easter Bunny was still hopping down the street.

Easter Celebration #1

We had a nice Easter celebration with the Schmuckers on Saturday. Great-grandma Elsie was able to join us too. Here is a nice picture of her and Evan.

Neighbors

Adam loves playtime with our neighbor Willy. The two of them were inseparable at tumbling class together and they will both be attending preschool together in the fall. We went to a carnival at the preschool so the boys were able to look around at the classrooms and play lots of fun games. Willy's little brother, Cody, is just a few months older than Evan so I imagine there will be lots of fun times ahead for the two of them as well. We are so lucky to have great neighbors!

Our Little Handyman

Adam and Aaron went to Home Depot for one of their kids clinics. Here he is showing off his project and his apron. Adam had his heart set on building a birdhouse too, so I bought a little kit for him and Aaron to do at home. Maybe I can put him to work on my list of projects someday soon:)

Evan - 7 months

At 7 months, here is what Evan is up to:
  • He is a pretty good eater. He has tried all of the stage 1 fruits and vegetables and he enjoys them for the most part. He loves the vegetables and tolerates most of fruits (except peaches), but I think the fruits are a little tart for him. Maybe, just maybe he won't be as picky as his big brother!!
  • He finally has one tooth. It is nearly all the way in, but it is sure moving slowly. I think the other bottom incisor is close to making an appearance too.
  • Is the king of cat naps in his crib. In fact, he never sleeps for a long period of time in his crib even at night. We end up moving him to the carseat or the bed because he wakes up so frequently at night.
  • Is always reaching for things around him, especially Adam's toys. He loves toys that move, like some of Adam's trains and cars. He is dangerous around the dinner table, the TV remote, and the computer with his quick hands.
  • He is such a wiggle worm. He leans and kicks like crazy when we hold him. I think he is trying to tell us where to go. He is starting to reach for us to pick him up and even bouncing a little to some music.
  • He gives the biggest smiles and cuddles when we enter a room after being away.
