Easter Weekend 2013

We had a busy Easter weekend. We started the weekend by coloring eggs on Friday afternoon. Adam went to a birthday party on Saturday while Evan and I stopped by the neighborhood egg hunt. Sunday, I took the kids to lunch with the Schmucker side and dinner with the Dynan side while Aaron stayed back recovering from pink eye. The kids were so excited (and full of questions) about the Easter Bunny and had huge smiles running around the house looking for eggs and baskets.

Neighborhood crew - their were even eggs for the adults to find!

So crazy to have snow on the ground!

It was quite amusing to see the kids scatter!

The Dells

Aaron has had to travel so much to Canada this winter that we weren't really able to plan a warm getaway, but we did have a fun weekend away at the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. We rented a villa with three other families (friends from college). Both the adults and kids were able to enjoy themselves and I think it also served as a reminder that we are not in college any longer and cannot recover like we once did in college, but I don't think it will stop us from trying. I took the kids to the YMCA pool after we got back and Evan was so disappointed that it wasn't the Dells. It is so humid in the pool areas that we didn't really bring a camera in, so here are a few pictures from Aaron's phone.

Baby Dylan

We were so excited to meet Dylan. He is such a sweet little guy and he is the best snuggler. Every time Evan would see Jenn, he would ask, "Where's dat baby?" Adam was proud to be the big cousin and be able to hold Dylan, get toys for him, sing to him, and even help feed him. Adam was a little choked up when he had to say goodbye. We sure miss him already!

Adam raced home from school to meet his cousin. Could Adam's smile be any bigger?!
