Mowing

The boys really look forward to the nights when it's time to mow.  Adam drives his tractor around and mimics exactly what Aaron is doing while Evan rides with Aaron.  The boys asks for rides almost every night around the neighborhood.  Just the mention of the mower will send Evan to the door crying for a "ride" over and over and over.

Adam's Special Outing

Grandma was home alone and planned a special outing for her and Adam.  Adam loves music, so she took him to the talent show at the high school and to dinner beforehand.  I'm not sure who was more excited to go, but it sure was a special night for both of them.

Spring

I love this time of year because there is so much to look forward to.  The flowers start to bloom, everything turns green again, and all the warm weather is in front of us.  We all enjoy being outside so much.

Easter

We spent some time on Saturday morning decorating Easter eggs. Adam was so excited about the Easter Bunny coming to our house and had a long list of questions too.

Adam was up early, but we waited for Evan to look for the eggs and baskets.

Evan was the most excited about the fruit snacks in his basket and ate them for breakfast.

We played all morning with our new Easter goodies.

After naps, we made our way to Grandma and Grandpa's house for an Easter dinner with the Dynan side, complete with egg hunt.  It was a big hit with the kids!

The kids did a great job hunting for eggs, but even after some extensive search efforts, we think there might still be a few eggs missing! Happy Easter to all!!

No foolin'

Adam had wanted a turn on Soren's bike while we were in Cold Spring and I noticed he didn't need much help from me holding the seat. Aaron took off the training wheels when we got home to see if he was really ready. We headed to Grandma and Grandpa's to pick up Chase and take advantage of their flat driveway. Aaron ran by his side up and down the driveway a couple times and Adam already had the hang of it. He's pretty proud of himself.  On the way home from Grandma and Grandpa's, Adam asked, "What should we try next?"

Easter in Cold Spring

We celebrated Easter with the Schmuckers a week early and we had a gorgeous day for an outdoor egg hunt.  The kids loved it.  When Evan discovered that there were jelly beans, chocolates, and M+Ms in each one, he could hardly wait to dive in. Great-grandma Elsie was able to join us.  She is fascinated watching the kids run around and play together.  It was a memorable morning for all.
