Memorial Golf Tournament



 

Had a blast playing in a scramble golf tournament in Cold Spring. Nothing like a little friendly competition amongst family members:) I only wish I could have helped my team a bit more, but it was a great way to honor and remember Aaron's grandparents.

Summer is in full swing and we are staying busy and having lots of fun while staying cool!

Adam really looked forward to his t-ball games this summer and did not want the season to end. He is already looking forward to next season when he can play coach-pitch.

Our former neighbors invited us back to our old neighborhood for lunch and some catching up. We walked/biked to the park and took the kids to the pier where they watched all of the fish. We were lucky to have such great neighbors and love to come back and see them again. Adam was especially impressed with all of the trails for biking.

Time to party!

 

One of Adam's classmates hosted a party to celebrate the end of the school year. They had pools out, a bouncy house, and a huge sandbox for the kids (and their siblings) to play with. It was such a nice way to wind down the school year. Cheers to the preschool graduates:)

For Adam's last day of school, they had a short program in their classroom. The kids sang the alphabet backwards and received their diplomas! Adam was grinning from ear to ear for the whole thing. I think he was pretty proud to be wearing a graduation cap and he tends to ham it up for an audience.

Preschool Buds

 

Adam is starting to get a little emotional about not seeing his friends from preschool once the school year ends. It has been such a great group of kids (and parents). Aside from Willy, all of his classmates will be attending different schools within the Hudson school district next year. We already have plans to keep in touch with many of his friends throughout the summer, so that makes the transition a bit easier.

The boys and I ventured out to the Children's Museum one Friday morning. I thought we would miss the weekend crowds this way, but the place was full of school field trips. They didn't mind and both enjoyed it so much. We will definitely be going back!
