- He weighs 3olbs (31%) and is 36" tall (9%)
- He has a great imagination. It is so fun to see what ideas he comes up with when we are playing. He pretends to be anything from a zookeeper to a doctor to a puppy and he really plays the parts well.
- He is independent. He likes to do things all by himself. He has been potty-trained since just after Evan arrived in the fall and he made up his mind to do it all on his own. He also likes to dress himself, sometimes in three different outfits in a day. He can be stubborn when he wants to be!
- He is gentle and kind-hearted. He is such a great big brother to Evan. He is always hugging him and kissing him and showing him how to do things. He does not like to see Evan crying.
- He has a great sense of humor. I am often surprised at how much he understands and how he knows when something is funny. I really need to start writing down some of the funny things that come out of his mouth!
- Counts forwards and backwards, knows his letters and colors, masters puzzles. He will be starting preschool in the fall two mornings a week and I think he will love it. He gets along really well with kids, but is shy at first.
- He is very athletic and will often show me something that he has figured out. One day he showed me he could hop on one foot. Another day it was skipping and winking. I am pretty sure that his golf swing is better than mine too. His tumbling teacher always comments on his good balance and coordination.
We are so proud of him and love him so much! Now for some pictures...
We have had lots of little birthday celebrations since his party is a couple weeks away. Finding a present under the bed at Grandma and Grandpa's when they were on vacation
Helping make some birthday brownies
Uncle Matt joined us for a Mac n' cheese birthday dinner
Opening presents from Mommy and Daddy
Adam loves playing at Joe's house with Alex and Joe
He had a huge smile as they sung "Happy Birthday"
Willy and Adam turned three within three weeks of each other
This expression just makes me laugh
It's so much fun to be THREE!
