Hudson Pier

Adam went for a walk and then grabbed lunch with Nana and Papa in Hudson.  He had a lot of fun watching people fish, looking at boats, and playing with Papa.

Jenn & Bubba's Visit

We were lucky to have Jenn and Bubba here for an extended visit. Adam was so excited to have them here and it was a really nice break for me too. They were more than happy to play with him at the park, chase him around the house, take him golfing, and they even got up with him a couple mornings at 6AM. We also celebrated Bubba's birthday. Adam asks daily if it's his Happy Day yet - he sure likes a party!

Boat Ride

We rented a pontoon on the St. Croix River. It was the perfect day to be on the water!

After sleeping for about 15 minutes, he woke up and yelled "Boat ride" and was ready to do some fishing with Daddy... too bad we didn't have any bait.

Jenn and Bubba bought Adam a beach ball. He loved throwing it in the water and having Bubba swim after it.

July 4th Weekend

We were all set to leave town for the holiday weekend, but Chase came down with an allergic reaction/infection the day before so we decided to stay home with him and make sure that he took his meds and left it alone. As bummed as we were to miss a weekend away, there were plenty of festivities right in town. We took Adam to the Hudson parade, met our neighbors for lunch, and caught the fireworks over the St. Croix River. We also hosted a July 4th dinner for some friends and family.

Exercise

We enjoy taking Chase for walks, but lately Adam refuses to ride in his stroller and wants to walk too. The terrain is very hilly and he is easily distracted along the way by rocks, frogs, etc. We have probably set a record for the amount of time it has taken to complete the loop and it seems that Adam is the only one getting much exercise:)
