Here's an update on what Adam has been up to lately along with some pictures:
- More teeth! He is getting his four canine teeth - three of the four have poked through the gums. Maybe he will finally stop drooling when these come in?!
- Adam doesn't say very many words yet, but his understanding of words is amazing. He says "What's this" countless times each day. His tone changes so we know when he is asking a question, requesting something, or is excited about something.
- He is still a finicky eater. He won't drink milk, eat meat (other than ham), or many vegetables. He LOVES fruit, snack foods, and sweets though.
- Is down to one nap. We are still adjusting to this transition and hope that his naps start getting a little longer.
- Loves to be a helper. He likes to help vacuum, sweep, cook, throw things in the garbage, empty the dishwasher, feed the dog, etc.
- Adam enjoys reading books with us. His current favorites are Sweet Smells of Christmas and Love Song for a Baby.
- Adam gets really excited to see Chase (he especially likes throwing the ball to him and taunting him with his snacks), watching for airplanes, going outside, and seeing cars/trucks/buses go by.
- Adam is full of new expressions. His personality is coming out more and more. Lately, he purposely bumps his head gently over and over looking for some sympathy.
- He has recently starting signing for "more". This was a surprise to us because we were so sporadic about using that sign with him. Whenever we tickle him or do something that makes him laugh, he signs for "more". We can't get enough of him either!
