Seven Months Old

It's hard to believe, but another month has gone by. Each month brings many new developmental milestones.

Here are the highlights at month seven:
  • Adam now has two bottom teeth. He is still drooling constantly, rubbing his gums, and trying to chew on everything. It doesn't look like there will be much of a break before the next ones start coming.
  • He babbles constantly, including the sound "dada". He loves to hear his voice and it can get quite loud. He even sings himself to sleep.
  • Is very sturdy sitting on his own and is very coordinated with his hands. He can grab even the smallest of objects.
  • Adam is very social. He loves getting out of the house (especially outside) and is usually not afraid to go to new people.
  • Is eating a variety of vegetables now - squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, and peas. He'll start eating fruits next week.
  • Is "All Boy" - he loves being tossed up in the air, tickled upside down, or any other rough play.
  • Lastly, and probably the biggest change is that he start crawling. He just started doing this early in the week and already he gets stronger and faster each day.
