Kate & Greg Visit

Kate happens to have a work commitment that brings her to Wisconsin and luckily can squeeze in some time to see family! We gave Greg the tour of Hudson and Stillwater while they were here for the afternoon. I think he was surprised to see how different everything looks in the summer.

Cabin Time!

We always look forward to weekends at the Wicklander cabin! I love spending time with the college crew and love watching all of our kids have fun together too!!

Girl's Weekend

 

It was a bit of a whirlwind weekend as Kate and Nicole both flew in for just one night, but we made the most of it! It was fun to connect with each other without the distraction of kids. We spent a relaxing afternoon at a spa and ventured out for some fine cuisine in the evening. Congratulations to Kate and Amy on their upcoming weddings and thanks for including me on this fun weekend of celebrations:)

 

Fourth of July Festivities

Nana and Papa spent the day with us to celebrate the 4th. After spending some time in Stillwater, we grilled out and lit some sparklers. It was a perfect day until Evan's fingers touched the hot part of the sparkler after it was done burning and ended up with two blisters. Ouch!



 

 

We spent all day Friday at the Wicklander cabin. Despite the strong winds, we had a fun day boating and swimming. Adam and Evan even tried tubing behind the speed boat!

 

On Saturday, we had a BBQ with my college roommates that are in the area. It is pretty amazing that we were able to coordinate this on a holiday weekend! This is the easiest group of boys and Adam and Evan sure look forward to their visits. We are good about getting together, but rarely with the husbands, so that was a special treat too!

Memorial Golf Tournament



 

Had a blast playing in a scramble golf tournament in Cold Spring. Nothing like a little friendly competition amongst family members:) I only wish I could have helped my team a bit more, but it was a great way to honor and remember Aaron's grandparents.

Summer is in full swing and we are staying busy and having lots of fun while staying cool!

Adam really looked forward to his t-ball games this summer and did not want the season to end. He is already looking forward to next season when he can play coach-pitch.
