It's Official...

Adam has played more rounds of golf than I have this summer/fall.  He sure is having lots of fun on his golf outings and will be back at it again in the spring no doubt.

Playmates

Here are a couple recent videos.  Adam and Evan are interacting more and more now that Evan is a little older. Evan idolizes Adam and enjoys the attention from him.  The fighting over toys has increased too, but these moments where they are enjoying one another so much make it all worth it.

*You may notice that Adam is in his pajamas in both videos.  He is definitely in a phase where he insists on putting them on the second we get home from somewhere and not taking them off unless we are headed out again.

Evan - 13 months

Evan is developing quite the personality.  He sure is a lot of fun these days and can always bring a smile to our face.

• Evan is finally interested in books!  He will bring us books and plop down on our lap as we read to him.  
• Evan doesn't do a lot of talking yet.  He has his own way of communicating. However, when he is demanding something or upset and will pull on my leg and say "mamama".  He is also starting to get a few animal sounds.
• He loves watching and playing with Adam.  He wants to be able to do whatever he is doing.  The boys always brush their teeth together before bed and Evan mimics Adam spitting his toothpaste into the sink.  It makes me smile every time.
• Evan is very aware of music and always stops to dance to it, whether it be on the radio or Adam singing a song he learned at school.
• Evan loves to wrestle.  If anyone is laying on the ground, Evan immediately tries to get them and bounce on them.
• He has started throwing little tantrums when he doesn't get his way.  I forgot how early kids start doing this. 
• He is a very steady walker now and has even started to "run" away from us if we try to get him.  It seems like he can get up the flight of stairs in the blink of an eye.
• He has twelve teeth now and is drooling constantly. 
• He sleeps through the night.  I cannot tell you how refreshing it is!  The lactose-free diet has helped his stomach issues.  I only wish we had figured it out sooner.
• Evan is still so sweet and cuddly. He gives lots of kisses. Aaron and I usually have to ask for them. Adam and Chase get them unsolicited. Here are a few photos from the last month and a little video of Evan passing out some kisses to Adam.

Aamodts Apple Farm

We enjoyed a perfect fall day at Aamodts Apple Farm with Nana & Papa, the Apolds, and Aunt Amy.

Aunt Amy gave us this onesie when Evan was still a newborn, so I thought I would try to get a few pictures of Evan modeling it.  I wish that I would have done this before he starting walking so well because it was hard to catch him when he was constantly on the move!!  Hope you enjoy Amy!

Park and Picnic

It was the PERFECT day for playing at Teddy Bear Park and having a pizza picnic down by the river.  We did this last year and Adam has been asking to do it again.  The area is so beautiful this time of year.

BBQ

We had a BBQ to catch up with the Dynan side of the family in Osceola.  Here is a picture of all of the second cousins together.  It was great seeing everyone!!
