A Helping Hand
Adam wants to help with anything and everything that we do around the house (such as painting and mopping the floor). When Aaron or I try to help him, he always replies, "No. Me."

Squeaky Clean
It's a good thing Adam enjoys baths so much because after spending so much time outdoors, he could use a good scrubbing:)

Handprint
We received a Handprint Tower kit as a gift when Adam was born. The kit has decorative tins to take an imprint of their handprint each year until they are five. Last year Adam was only slightly cooperative and we had trouble getting him to fan out his hand. This year went much smoother and he had fun doing it. It is so fun to see how much he has grown and will be a wonderful keepsake for him.

The first of many...
We had a playdate today with my friends Katie and Liz and their girls. Hopefully it is the first of many as we all had a great time together.
Amelia, Maddie, Adam, and Madeline
Adam was so proud to hold Baby Madeline. He even covered her with his special t-shirt that he sleeps with.

Como Zoo
Our neighbors ventured out in the rain with us to Como Zoo. A tiger came all the way up and tapped on the window where the boys were standing. Earlier, a gorilla did the same thing and Adam jumped into my lap. We definitely were able to see some active animals.

Nicole's Birthday Celebration
We had a nice birthday lunch for Nicole at our place. Even Chase and Henry got to play outside together!
Nana with her hands full

Adam pulled out one of the decorations on Nicole's cake to lick off the frosting and Papa realized that he picked out a cake decorated with all different kinds of tools - pretty funny!

Daddy's little look-a-like
Every time that I dress Adam in his red St. John's shirt, he insists that Aaron put his "matching" one on when he gets home from work. Here they are enjoying a Girl Scout cookie - yum! Adam couldn't even wait to take a bite.

We couldn't resist this Mickey Mouse chair for Adam. We knew he would like it, we didn't know how much he would like it. He had to fold it up and bring it in the bathroom while he took a bath and then he wanted to read books on it before bed. It's a good thing it is so portable because it has been traveling throughout the house.

Ladies Man
My friend Kerri came over this morning with her three kids. Her youngest, Alex, is just 9 months younger than Adam and I thought they would have fun together. Kaitlyn and Kenzie are older and I thought they might get a little bored since I don't really have any toys for their ages. I couldn't have been more wrong. Kaitlyn and Kenzie played right by Adam's side the entire time they were here. They catered to his every need and he was soaking up every minute of it. Kenzie told me it was the "best day of her life"... so cute! Alex enjoyed Adam's toys and had fun too, but the boys didn't interact much. I'm sure that will change as they get a little older.

They held his hand as they went to different parts of the house.

Tumbling
We started a tumbling class today. Adam really enjoyed it. I had to pry him off the mats before the next class was going to start.
